UK registered academic institutions, RTOs or Catapults can apply for a share of up to £2.5 million to fund innovation projects with businesses.

This is a UK-only funding call from Innovate UK (UKRI), and Acme Corporation's target regions explicitly exclude the United Kingdom. Although the call supports innovation projects and R&D partnerships—topics aligned with Acme's strategic priorities—the geographic mismatch is disqualifying: Acme cannot participate as a business partner or lead applicant in a UK-based scheme.
