Funding of preparatory projects for system demonstrators that accelerate the transition to fossil-free, safe, equitable and efficient road transport. The solutions should have high technical maturity and potential to be implemented and scaled up within a few years. All five system dimensions should be addressed. Preparatory projects aim to prepare for a system demonstrator. The chosen societal challenge should already have been explored in a previous feasibility study. Relevant actors should be mobilized to participate and a plan should be developed for the system demonstrator´s implementation, funding, utilization and dissemination of results. The call for proposals is part of the FFI Accelerera sub-programme within the Strategic vehicle research and innovation (FFI) collaboration.
