Traffic-safe automation - autumn 2026

Vinnova · SE
5.8
Score global

Résumé

With this the call for proposals we want to support research and development activities that increase road safety and make transportation more sustainable through safe, connected, automated vehicles prepared for shared use. The call for proposals is part of the FFI Trafiksäker automation sub-programme within the Strategic vehicle research and innovation (FFI) collaboration.

Analyse d'adéquation

The call addresses automated vehicles and road safety, which touches on Acme's AI and semiconductor interests but is narrowly focused on transportation/mobility rather than semiconductor R&D or AI development per se. Sweden (Vinnova) is within the target regions, but the call's emphasis on vehicle automation and sustainability may not align closely with Acme's core semiconductor/AI tech strategy unless the company is actively developing automotive chips or AI platforms for autonomous systems.

Point de vigilance

Verify whether Acme has active R&D in automotive semiconductor design, autonomous vehicle platforms, or AI for connected/automated transport; if so, confirm eligibility of non-Swedish entities in this Vinnova FFI sub-programme.
