Résumé
This is the first transnational call under the European Raw Materials Partnership (RAMP) for research and innovation projects covering the entire raw materials value chain from extraction through recycling and reuse. The 2026 call (JTC 2026) supports projects contributing to sustainable and resilient systems for green and digital transitions, with funding provided in France by the French National Research Agency (ANR) and the Nickel Research Technology Environment Competitiveness Centre (CNRTEC) of New Caledonia. The application deadline is 15 February 2027.
Analyse d'adéquation
This call focuses on raw materials extraction, processing, recycling, and circular economy across the full supply chain, with emphasis on sustainability and green/digital transitions. While Acme's semiconductor and AI domains may use raw materials, the call's primary scope is materials science and supply chain resilience rather than semiconductor manufacturing, AI development, or deep tech innovation. The fit is tangential at best unless Acme has a specific strategic interest in raw materials sourcing or critical mineral security for semiconductor production.
Verify whether the call accepts projects focused on critical minerals for semiconductor/electronics manufacturing, or if it is limited to traditional mining, metallurgy, and recycling processes outside the chip production value chain.
